My First Tattoo - 2008/12/10 11:23
I first decided i wanted a tattoo about 6 months ago. I had spent over 15 years working with horses and wanted something to commemorate this period of my life.
I spent months trawling the internet, magazines and books to find the right image, but nothing 'clicked'.
So, i decided to try and design my own.
This design started out as a doodle on a desk notepad at work!
After another month of refining the sketch, scanning it a retouching on my pc, i finally had the finished design.
Took it to a local tattoo artist who's work i had seen on others and asked if he would be interested. He said no! However, he suggested a few changes (shaded instead of solid black) and 2 hours later, this was the result!
I'm now addicted and i am already researching my next design.
