What defines a Zodiac Tattoo?

How did they come up with the Zodiac?

With really no good way to determine what the locations of the stars, the scientists devised a plan to use these twelve sections to define zones in outer space, like a coordinate system. Astrology experts built on this system and claimed the stars and constellations they fit into had a profound influence on everyone - especially on your birthday.
